First month of receiving applications to the VI IH&MFF already passed.
The Artistic Council and te Organisational Committee od the VI IH&MFF reminds to all persons interested in participation, that according to the regulations, the proces of accepting films to the Festival’s competitions requires:
- To fill the application form which can be obtained on our page : www.militaryfestival.pl.
- The application shoud be signed and stamped by the owner of the author’s rights to the film.
- The film should be delivered in two DVD copies. Please, use the traditional post, sending the package to:

Please, do not forget to enclose the so-called cue-sheet describing the owners of the film.
We do not accept applications sent by e-mail, we also do’nt record films from internet links. For the efficiency and quality of the delivery of films - only the senders are responsible. The Regulation of the IH&MFF exactly determines what kinds of films and in which formal way can be accepted to participate in the VI Festival.
Due to the legal aspects, we are not able to accept films if some parts of application formsare not filled . Therefore, we appeal to the Authors and Producers to become exactly acquainted with the forms and to fill them precisely.
We wish you successes in the Fesival’s competitions.
Presently ake place the last negotiations between the most important institutions – partners of the VI IH&MFF. Their engagement in organising this year’s edition of the Festival was confirmed by, among others: The Ministry of National Defence, The Ministry of Economy, The MInistry of Culture and National Heritage, The President of the Capital City Of Warsaw, The Polish Institute of the Film Art., The Museum of Independence, The Museum of the Polish Army and the National Audiovisual Institute .
The last agreements take place also between the non-governmental institutions expressing their suport in organising the Festival this year. Nearing the end are also the talks with one of the Polish militarhy academies concertning its coopertation with the Festival. This cooperation would continue the experiences of previous years, because the Warsaw WAT (The Army Technical Academy) as well as the Academy of National Defence from Rembertów already took part in cooperation with our Festival.
Mr Ratkowski is an author of the idea of organising the Festival and for many years acts as artistic director of this event.
